Bavaria Bierhaus's two massive bars were made in Erding, a town in the Bavaria region of Germany. The workers who constructed the long, wooden bars even flew to New York to assemble them, along with the high, circular tables common in beer houses. The team brought on chef John Vaughn to install a traditional German menu littered with dishes like pretzels, schnitzel, and spaetzle. The two-level restaurant, which sits on the cobblestone block between South William and Pearl streets, will feature more than 20 German brews. Definitely a destination place for locals and visitors alike.

Walking in here was like a time warp, back to my time in Augsburg. The atmosphere is outstanding. If they played bad techno music, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference! Great food, great service. And, of course, great beir!

Great stone Street location. Big beers are fantastic for sharing with a couple friends. Definitely recommend sitting outside, not worth it otherwise
